PET SITTING LIABILITY WAIVER CONTRACT

At Gus’s Cabin, we truly care about your dog like they are our own and will do everything possible to keep them safe and happy. We are fully insured thru Pet Sitters Associates (policy available upon request) however in this legal world, we have to put this standard terms and liability forward.  We hope you can understand! Thank you for entrusting your pets care to us, we take safety and health of all dogs in our care as our top priority.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK:

I acknowledge that entrusting my pet(s) to Gus’s Cabin LLC for pet sitting services involves certain risks and hazards, including but not limited to:

• Accidental injuries or harm to my pet(s) during the sitting period.
• Potential encounters with other animals, people, or objects that may cause stress, aggression, or injury.
• Unforeseen health issues or emergencies that may arise during the sitting period.
• Risks associated with indoor and outdoor activities, including but not limited to household hazards, weather conditions, and environmental factors.

I willingly choose to engage Gus’s Cabin LLC for pet sitting services with a full understanding and acceptance of these risks.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

By clicking accept on this waiver, I release, discharge, and hold harmless Gus’s Cabin LLC, its employees, contractors, agents, and representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”), from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from the provision of pet sitting services, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or any other harm, regardless of whether it is caused by the negligence or fault of the Released Parties.

INDEMNIFICATION:

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, damages, liabilities, and costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from the provision of pet sitting services to my pet(s).

MEDICAL ATTENTION:

In the event of any injury, illness, or medical emergency involving my pet(s) during the sitting period, I authorize the Released Parties to seek veterinary treatment on behalf of my pet(s) and at my expense, if necessary.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING:

I have carefully read and fully understand the contents of this liability waiver. I acknowledge that by clicking accept on this document, I am waiving certain legal rights and assuming the risks associated with entrusting my pet(s) to Gus’s Cabin LLC for pet sitting services.

GOVERNING LAW:

This liability waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Washington State.

By booking with Gus’s Cabin LLC, I affirm that I have carefully read and understood this liability waiver and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
